Abstract

Abstract: This paper studied and analyzed manifestations of the term "Meta- narrative" in the stories of Mohammed Khudair through tracking pathways in his book (Basrayatha). Mohammed Khudair knew with an experience that is unusual, and uncommon. And provided a literary product which is wealth to write about which addressed outside frames, races, and calcined methods. He has been a constant quest to override known methods and out of the circle of imitation and repetition. His book (Basryatha: Portrait of a City) is an example of this passion who filled mind of Mohammed Khudair. His emotion was motivating him over the years for creativity characterized by novelty and variance. In this research attempted to put the hand on the Meta- Narrative technique was listed in the stories of Mohammed Khudair through research in (Basrayatha) for the act of writing conscious narrative which is practiced by the writer to present his vision for (city portrait).
