Abstract

We ate in this research theme, the principle of humanitarian, which is one of the basic principles of international humanitarian law, which adopted the method of comparison, between him and the substance of this principle when Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), and it wasn't our preference of one over the other, but a statement handle and organize international humanitarian law to the topic under study, and the corresponding large Islamic heritage represented by the ethics of war in faithful biography of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib. And concluded that the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law should be attributed to who thanks her and applied and developed, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, Caliph of Muslims and in front of the pious. This study was divided into two sections, we ate in the first section of humanity in international humanitarian law has been divided into two demands first was titled defining principle of humanity and its historical evolution in the course of international humanitarian law and the second requirement of the rules of international humanitarian law principle of humanity, the second topic was the principle of humanity when Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). It also has been split into two demands we ate the first requirement in the rules for the protection of war victims at second and restrict the methods and means of warfare when Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
