Spatial distribution of green spaces and their homogeneity with the population and areas of the city of Baghdad on its two sides Karkh and Rusafa - a comparative study
Abstract
This research is one of the research that attempts to study the reality of the state of green spaces in the city of Baghdad, on its two sides, Karkh and Rusafa, and the extent of its homogeneity with the population and areas of the administrative units there. The research aims to clarify the relationship between (population and areas of municipalities on both sides of the city of Baghdad) and the extent of its impact on (the areas of green areas) according to planning standards, and to make a comparison between them. The two researchers started with a main problem that included several questions, through which it aims to clarify the nature of the influencing relationships between the studied variables through data related to population and spaces as (independent variable) and (green spaces) as (dependent variable) The two researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach as a scientific method in the study by collecting data on the two variables through the relevant government institutions. A set of measures and statistical methods were used, represented by (frequency tables, percentage, geographical maps, correlation coefficient, F test, linear regression analysis Simple, coefficient of determination R2) by means of statistical analysis software SPSS V24 and AMOS V24. Through their research, the two researchers reached a set of results, on the basis of which the conclusions and recommendations that serve the research were developed.
