The effect of anaerobic effort by wearing a mask that suppresses breathing on some variables of the circulatory and respiratory system among physical education students
Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the response of the circulatory and respiratory systems to anaerobic effort while wearing a mask that suppresses breathing, in addition to identifying the differences between the two groups (experimental and control). Where the research sample was chosen by the intentional method from the original community, and they are students of the third academic year in the College of Physical Education - Salahuddin University for the academic year (2016-2017), and their number is (10) students. The experimental group consisted of (5) students and the control group consisted of (5) students. The main experiment was conducted in the (Heart Center) Hospital in Erbil on (2-4/3/2017), where the oxygen level, heart rate, blood pressure, vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume (FEV1) and forced expiratory flow (PEF) were measured during rest and for the experimental and control groups, then Re-tests after completing the effort and wearing a self-mute mask with effort (30) seconds for all students of the experimental group and without a mask for the control group. After processing the data statistically, the researchers concluded that when the body is exposed to an athletic effort, there will be a response to the body, and this varies according to the intensity exerted. him without wearing a mask.
